It is a three-year Degree course offered by the University of Calicut, aims at making the students who have an extra interest in Arabic proficient in Arabic Language, Literature, translation, Islamic Studies, Communication, Applied grammar, Linguistics and related areas of education. Like any other degree programme. This programme follows credit and semester system. BA Afzal Ul Ulama course includes six semesters altogether having two semesters in each academic year. It will be a feeder programme for the MA Arabic and MA Afsal ul ulama programmes offered by the University, and it follows the specially designed syllabus and curriculum.
